John Tupper: The R&TI Service link which has appeared below your post is currently showing that the transmitter is off air for engineering work. Do not attempt to retune.

Chris: There are no faults showing. Have you checked for any loose or damaged cables or connections behind your TV? Please provide a full postcode so that we can see where you are in relation to the transmitter and your predicted signal strength etc. Do not attempt to retune.

Chris:

There are 6 HD channels (and 2 SD) on the BBCB HD multiplex - BBC1, BBC2, ITV, Ch4, Ch5 & CBBC are the HD ones.
Are they all missing? Have there been any power cuts in the area? I can't find any reports of problems at the transmitter from Freeview or the BBC.

Have you changed anything lately? HDMI leads near unscreened/poorly screened flyleads/aerial leads can cause interference.

If you happened to retune when the signal was missing, this generally just clears the correct tuning and you need to retune again when signals are normal.

I would check that your aerial seems intact and pointing in the correct direction and that your downlead looks undamaged (especially if it is old). Also check all your coax plugs, connections, flyleads etc, unplug connectors check for corrosion or other problems and reconnect them. Flyleads are a common problem, try swapping/changing them. See what signal strengths and quality you are getting for the other multiplexes (groups of channels) shown in your TV's tuning section.
Problematic connections, water ingress etc. can seem to affect reception of just AN individual or several multiplexes.

Live in Millom, lost all channels listed on PSB2 (D3 +4) at least a week ago. But have the BBC and HD channels but HD channels.

Paul :

Can't find any evidence of faults at the Millom Park transmitter from either Freeview or the BBC.
If you retuned when you had no signal (for whatever the reason) this will most likely have just cleared the correct tuning and you'll need to retune when signals are normal. If your set automatically retuned by itself (turn that function off, it's more trouble than it's worth) the the result will be the same.

Try a manual retune on UHF channel C25 (PSB2 at Millom Park).
If you happen to be getting your signals from Winter Hill it's C34.
If you can't manual tune, do an automatic one.
If you still have problems, post back with a full postcode so we can check predicted reception at your locale.

Millom Park TX was down for 2 hours last THURSDAY and fom 1:30pm Friday and is still off more than 24 hors later.
We suspect storm damage, but nowhere confirms the problem. Both BBC and Digital UK deny any fault.
Who is responsible for updating PSB status?

John Tupper:

Well the BBC have reported one fault -
From 6:58:00pm to 7:25:27pm on 19th Feb 2022 BBC B HD Off the air due to a fault.
If you perchance retuned when there was no signal it will most likely just have cleared your correct tuning and so you may not know if it's back on air.

I would imagine with all the outages that are likely to be about, staff everywhere are having trouble keeping up with it all. You could try checking via your power distribution company's website if there's a power outage which might be the cause.
Hey, done it for you, Electricity North West shows there was a power cut and power has now been restored.
