According to the BBC, PSB1 had slightly reduced power due to a fault on the14th. See also reports above.
For Midhurst your aerial should be pointing ~WNW and tuned to UHF channels C48, C35, C36, C29, C34, C33 for PSBs1-3, COMs4-6. Your "newish aerial" should be a Group K or T (or wideband).
If you are tuned to C24, C27, C21 you are picking up Rowridge (~WSW).

Since the last time i have had to re-tune my device in October i do not seem to be able to series link record certain programmes on at least BBC1, ITV and Channel 5. Is there a reason for this. i can set each episode to record but the series link doesn't work. This never used to be a problem. I have done a reset on my youview box without luck and it is starting to get annoying. Any help would be appreciated but it has seemed to tie in from the last time we have had to retune for this transmitter

According to the Freeview checker, there appears to be an unspecified problem which says "A problem could be affecting your signal right now"
The BBC have a report "From 3:23pm to 3:25pm on 29th Mar 2020 BBC A Slightly reduced power due to a fault".
So we can only guess that there's something ongoing!

@Chris.SE
So even if the reduced power is specified for BBC A mux would that affect ARQ B?

Firstly the BBC won't report on any muxes that don't carry their channels, and bear in mind I was also going by the Freeview checker saying (currently) there was a problem
Secondly, it'll depend a bit on what the fault(s) actually are, bear in mind that the COM muxes at Midhurst are transmitted with half the power that the PSBs use, so if the transmitter has an overall reduction in power, there could appear to be a greater impact on the COM muxes depending on your location.
Looking at the checker for your location, COM6 is perhaps likely to be affected more in such circumstances, but again it depends on what the "unspecified" problem is.
If you put your postcode (& house name/number to get the most accurate results) into the checker at Platform management | Freeview you'll see the predicted reception in normal circumstances.
In the current covid-19 situation, it may take longer than normal to get the fault fixed, I doubt anyone will give us more information.

@Chris.SE
It turned out that the original aerial installer didn't use a big enough poll (which was a scaffold pole cut to size) to clear the neighbours roof opposite our house! That and the trees behind the houses made for very poor reception. Now got the aerial on top of a nice 20ft poll and all mux's show 100% across the board! Fortunately the aerial is good quality I was told.
