I have had a poor signal since somewhere in November but it has got worse since Christmas time. I don't have exact dates but my PVR recorders had no problem until the last couple of weeks even they are breaking up frequently now making it difficult to watch some programs.
I live in Bovingdon. Has there been a problem? please advise. Lyndon

Hemel Hempstead
I live along Box Lane in Hemel Hempstead a couple of miles down the road from Bovingdon .
Looking at the trasmitter maps - it seems like my house will be a black out zone for decent freeview forever. Seem to be on the boarder of Crystal Palacce , Hemel Hempstead, Oxford and Sandy Hill. I think I may as well go cable of FREE sat!!

Brian: You reception will be fine late in 2012. If you want digital TV before that, yes, Freesat is the best option for you.

Last night (23/01/2011) Freeview on the Digibox was working fine, particularly on channel 80 the BBC News Channel. This morning the picture appeared stuck and the audio was very occasional, brief and clipped ie. it was unwatchable. I cycled the power on the Digibox but then got no sound or picture and the words "No Signal". I have connected the TV direct to the aerial and get Analog channels 1 - 5 fine. Going back to the original setup and I get nothing. A channel rescan gives no channels found. The digital setup still seems rather flaky so it's just as welll analog still works. I believe that we are receiving signal from the Hemel Hempstead transmitter, but this site says that there are no problems with that transmitter. I don't believe that anything changed our end over night so I conclude that the problem must be in the transmissions of perhaps atmospherics, 'though the weather seems fairly stable.

Things have gone peculiar on our dvb. We record on dvb on Scart 2, this morning Scart one and two say "no signal", for the one and only time in 3 years. Why
