We were away on holiday during the digital switchover but have retuned the TV and cannot now get several channels like Dave, Sky News etc.

Will these be back soon or how can we recover them now?

My location is LD7 1NG

Gary salt: There are no faults with the Garth Hill TV transmitters. If you have had no reception on any service for three weeks then it must be a problem with your receiving setup.

All the transmitters are monitored 24h a day by Arqiva, and each multiplex is a separate independent transmitter.

It seems, despite however many times its said, people dont get the message - if you lose a service, DO NOT retune until you have eliminated ANY possible fault with your own system. Otherwise all you will do is delete the stations already listed in your receiver!

Also, Garth Hill is the feeder station for the transmitters at Knucklas, which also have no faults.

A I Gilmour: This website is independent and has nothing to do with any broadcaster or transmitter company, therefore the problem you are experiencing cannot be caused by anything to do with this website nor we can't send an engineer to investigate. If you look at the transmitter engineering posts above yours, you'll see that they are already aware of a fault.
