Retuned this am and all Emley Moor mux present at 75% strength and 100% quality. This after removing the booster we had for the last 5 years.
Two aerials in the loft, one for Emley Moor and another for Bilsdale, linked by a fortunately correct length of coax.
After the booster removed the Bilsdale BBC1
signal fell slightly to 62% strength with 95% quality.
Using an old crt JVC set and a Humax PVR.
Very happy - Thanks for all the information over the last year.

Thanks Briantist for the reply.
I have fully retuned it 3 times and manually tuned it twice with no luck but I have noticed that we are now getting Granada ITV 1HD and not the London version I used to get??
Any ideas?

Tried to tune in on Saturday 17th September in LS16 because my daughter started at uni-there was absolutely nothing! Went out and bought an aerial boost-still nothing. Brought TV home with me then heard on the news today that Yorkshire was completing it's digital switchover-never thought of that! Is it complete now and does anybody have any advice for me? I am presuming that's what the problem was?

Everything seems to be ok for me so far, signal may be a little on the strong side but the TVs seem to cope with it. That phantom extra Challenge on 795 has also disappeared; must have been some temporary glitch.
I wonder why Ofcom chose C56 for the (coming soon) local TV service? It would require many households who currently have Group B aerials to get widebands...

I live in Sheffield S10 and have line of sight to Emley moor. I've retuned fine and can watch everything apart from the channels on ArqA...
When tuning I was also picking up a load of channels on Channel 22 which I've ignored... Where would they be coming from?

On behalf of a pensioner friend, I tuned in his new set top box. He's saying that he now gets BBC Newcastle rather than BBC Leeds, so is unhappy! We live in Poppleton, near York. I'm assuming the reason is that we've tuned to the Bilsdale transmitter - question is, how do we re-tune to the Emley Moor transmitter? Any help appreciated. Thanks.

Becky you do not mention what you used for an aerial.
You should have at least got the BBC high power programs, today all programs went high power.
