HELP!
Today is April the 15th, and after 2 days of the final stages of switch over I have lost at least 20 tv and radio stations combined.
I have just spoke to someone at LG Customer service. They have looked into it and say that "Dallington park" transmitter have lost (6) mux`s which I guess is (manual tune ch55)which all the other stations are on, and is only operating on 2 mux`s.
If they can not rectify this then all the ariels in this area need to be redirected to the "Sandy Heath" transmitter. The current barring is 263 deg (Dallington) and for Sandy Heath the ariel should be pointed at a barring of 104 deg. Then I am told I will recieve all my channels back.
Will let you all know how I get on!

Darren Midwinter, Kerry: Brian is right - if you had Freeview before the beginning of April, your service would have been coming from Sandy Heath. Dallington Park is transmitting digital signals for the first time.
At Sandy Heath, everything has moved around. Services such as ITV4, Film4 and Yesterday are part of Multiplex D. This has moved to the frequency that Multiplex B (BBC Four and CBeebies) used to be on, and at the same power level. It has also changed mode to increase capacity, but at the cost of being less robust. This means some viewers will lose those channels, for the moment. This is not the final location, but the final location can't be used yet as it would interfere with transmissions from other sites that haven't yet switched over.
This multiplex will reach its final channel and power level on 14 September, once the clashing transmissions have been turned off. You have to retune on 31 August, when Mux A moves to a different temporary channel, on 14 September, again on 23 November when Mux C moves to its final channel and increases capacity, and then one more time, some time after next April, when Mux A finally reaches its final channel.

So according to the post above me, does this mean that...
"some time after next April, when Mux A finally reaches its final channel"
...those of us currently on the Dallington Park transmitter can expect to recieve all of the Freeview channels rather than just the Freeview Lite (as listed at the top of this page)?

Ssscrudddy: No, it doesn't mean that. The reply is about another transmitter. This is and always will be a Freeview Light transmitter.

mary: The commercial operators do not regard it as profitable to broadcast from the minor transmitters and have no duty to do so.
