Living in Woking. WE had really good reception on all channels but in the last week we have lost ITV and C4 with 'bad signal'. What has changed?

i am trying to find the direction i need to point the loft aerial i have just brought to get the best signal, looks like it should be pointing in the direction of crystal palace. anyone know the compas direction of crystal palace traismitter from Horley, Surrey. i am just a layman so need N E S W not degrees and minutes.

I live on borderline PURLEY/SOUTH CROYDON, My TV had worked fine with sky freeview up until today 03/Nov/2011.
All of sudden I am getting message across all channels, TECHNICAL FAULT????
So what happens now?
What is going on?, I am poor man, no job, no social, just scrounging and the only living joy I had my TV is up the creek with this, what is going on?, please is there some one who can shine some light on this subject.

Chris: Given that the current weather conditions are heavy rain, this will effect satellite reception. This may be the case for anywhere between minutes and hours.
