Receiving these channels via my RTE aerial in South Belfast! They are located on channels 800 upwards!!!
My DVB-T TV only receives the radio stations, but my DVB-T2 TV receives the TV programmes as described above.

Have a Freeview HD (DVB-T2) box in South Belfast. Getting BBC HD and UTV HD around 100, 102 etc
Cant get RTE. Even tried a manual scan on c48 (690 Mhz) and getting no signal. Just read that someone else is getting RTE so it must be turned on ? Its not coming up in the automatic scan. Maybe the person was getting it from Saorview ?

Do I get the prize for most perfect SaorView reception, furthest from Clermont Carn ???
I am in the distant lowlands of Islandmagee - about 50 miles from the transmitter. Before DSO I was unable to get anything digital from Clermont on my setup, but today I just tried it with no changes and its 100%.
I have an 18dB wideband 40 something element aerial (3-stacks), positioned vertically - aimed by way of analog reception on RTE. There is ~20dB gain on a masthead amplifier that I hooked up through a filtered combiner to mix Freeview from a separate aerial into my loft box.
Best part is the TRIAX TR112 STB that I bought also locks onto Freeview signals & all the EPG data looks tip top. The Triax box is only certified as good for SaorView so I was happy to see it consume Freeview as well.
I have some screen shot photos if anyone doubts me - I am rather chuffed with the result as the local friendly neighbourhood aerial man said my efforts would be utterly futile !
The STB reports 100% signal strength and 90+ quality on SaorView so I must have done something right.
Interestingly, I have a DVB-T2 freeview TV which enjoyed the new post-DSO upgrade today but it must be programmed to ignore non FreeView signalling that it detects on the SaorView muxes.
Hope others have similar success - I only went to all this effort in preparation for the next series of Savage Eye, so they'd better make it ;-).

@Paddy - RTE is on NIMM at C39 - I get it fine much further away than you... do a manual scan at C39 and you should be good.
You need a horizontal aerial pointed at Divis/Black Mountain and a T2 receiver.

In Omagh, getting Freeview fine from Brougher on my DVB T2 in bedroom and MPEG4 in kitchen, but no RTE at all. Took MPEG4 set back to supplier and he retuned it and got 101 channels inc 8 RTE. Brought it home and RTE had disappeared - no signal. Supplier tuned to Strabane. Someone told be they had heard that RTE from Brougher delayed till 25th????

Can someone please help. My postcode is BT413QR and I have various freeview TV's, either DVB or DVB T. On the DVB-T set all the RTE channels are found but I only get sound and states video format is not supported. Looking through these posts I think I may need a T2 receiver. Does anyone agree? Before switchover I had perfect picture on all RTE channels.

RE-tuned my Humax HD box at noon today and picked up a number of digital channels on C52. I actually watched it for 5 mins or so, including TV3. However, while the channels are still listed in the EPG, there is nothing showing and the signal checker on the box shows 0%. Any thoughts?
I didn't expect to see them at all as I have a loft aerial facing Divis. ( I am in BT667RU )
Also, the NIMM on C39 shows level of 36% whereas all the others from Divis have levels of between 78% and 81%. Why the big difference?

Aerial is in the Loft and getting all the channels at excellent strength. The freeview box i have is humanx hd and i tried to scan for rte channels but cant get them. i even did a manual scan on c39 but dont get any signal at all. What could be the problem?

Colin Gilliland: When you manually scan on C39, ensure that DVB-T2 mode is selected rather than DVB-T.
