according to the info on this site Stamford has its own local transmitter/repeater, were you checking this or the Belmont mpx ?
I have lost everything on all 3 tvs here after a electrical storm this afternoon.
I have checked with my neighbours: but they are all on satellite which is ok( as is mine).

Tried a portable tv but still no signal from freeview. I also note that there is a warning for Belmont on the map on this site saying there maybe interruptions.
doesanyone else have a problem ?

STEVE WILKINS: My particular location is covered by the Waltham transmitter, signals from the local Stamford transmitter being biased to cover the properties along the waterfront areas and not much further, however purely for signal checking purposes my Freeview equipment is loaded with Belmonts and Sandy's PSB muxes and stored in the 800 range and my reply was with reference to Belmonts PSB muxes on Ch's 22 - 25 - 28.

Rechecked before replying and they are still OK.

Kevin Wright: If your sets have manual tuning then this could be useful. Usually when you select a channel UHF number on the manual tune screen, but don't press the button to scan that channel, it will give an indication of strength and quality, even if this isn't good enough to resolve a picture. Bringing up the signal strength screen on a tuned service (e.g. BBC One) will probably show no strength even if there is something there and which is under the threshold required to show a picture.

Increasing the level of the amplifier might bring in the missing channel(s) if the issue is that it is too weak. If it is too poorer quality then amplification won't help.

Hi All in North Lincolnshire and East Yorkshire
I have found "Estuary TV" Test Page on Channel 793. To get it just retune.

In Washingborough near Lincoln.
Can't pick up HD channels since yesterday, even after a retune. All other channels are fine.
Is this part of the engineering works? Has anyone else lost HD channels?

On Wednesday afternoon I did a scan on Doddington Road, Lincoln and got Estuary TV at signal 1/10 but working OK - I guess it's spreading further west than expected.

My signal keeps breaking up and eventually the retune box appears. No luck with that and now the set turns off automatically.

I have TV's served by loft aerial and a TV with separate aerial, all affected. Is it a problem with transmitter or the wind turbine in line with my house?

My Youview HD box has lost its BBC signal and all other signals are weaker / breaking up regularly.

This seems to have happened since Tuesday or Wednesday this week.

I have previously suffered with a poor signal and have had to install a booster, along with a better ariel, which had resolved the problem up until this week.

Any advice on how to resolve this?

Joy Harris/Ian Hall - I think there is a bit of inversion going on at the moment due to the weather (high pressure). I live near Beverley and I am getting good signal strength but poor signal quality - this is usually due to interference from foreign transmitters bouncing around the atmosphere under these calm weather conditions. It was worse last night but better this morning. There is nothing you can do abouit it but rest assured that plenty of other people will be having the same poroblems.
