I live outside banbridge and always had quite a good freeview signal on my tv's but recently I haven't at the moment I am receiving bbc channels and a few others clear...does this mean I need to change my aerial or do I need to wait and see if they pick up again?

Hi
I have just analogue tvs no digital connection) at BT32 4AG and while tvs without digital if HD have a great signal, for about 3 weeks now, my tv with in built digital has been saying it has no signal, or a really poor picture. What has happened, and how can I fix it (there is nothing wrong with tv as it works with a digital input).

Cate: The post code predictor (trade view) indicates that you are not presently able to
receive Freeview properly until October next year, as you are barely within range of the only station that is presently transmitting it (Divis) with your reception limited to only the two BBC multiplexes, with this being on a "variable" status and which cannot be relied upon for continuity.

Because of this fact, the signal that you have been receiving can really be classed as pot luck, but if its now partially vanished its likely only to be because of normal atmospheric condition changes, these obviously being out with your control.

Catherine: If you were receiving RT channels from Clermont Carn then they changed channel/frequency at switchover so a retune will be necessary.
