Hi there currently I am on blackhill transmitter (Glasgow) I live in a village called bowling. I get well over 100 freeview channels. I am moving home 1 mile west to Dumbarton East and I am using an indoor ariel which gives me 34 channels from milburn muir transmitter in Alexandria. Will I get any more channels if I use a rooftop ariel like I have in bowling or does millburn only give me 34 with a rooftop too?
In other words am I getting the full service with the indoor ariel?

jimmy smith: Please provide a full post for the house you're moving to (or one from very nearby) then we can access the coverage prediction for that location.

Gus gordon: Millburn Muir underwent engineering work overnight involving frequency changes. You will need to retune.

Jiummy: The new BBC Scotland channel will be carried on the PSB1 multiplex from every transmitter which currently broadcasts BBC One Scotland. A placeholder channel was added yesterday and should appear on LCN 9 (BBC Four moves to 82 in Scotland) although you may need to retune if your TV hasn't added the new channel automatically.

There seems to have been either an engineering change or power down of the DAB transmitter that took place approx. 2-3 years ago at Milburn Muir West Dunbartonshire. From that point I have experienced a reduction in available channels and quality, can someone please advise if and when the service can be re-instated ?
