Are there any planned engineering works or unexpected transmitter faults on the Lark Stoke (Gloucestershire, England) mast?
No problems on any service. 
UK Free TV shows the coverage area for a radio transmitter as a coloured overlay (orange for FM, other colours for DAB) on the grey map. We have computed the coverage by combining the terrain with the official radiation pattern. A single click will select the transmitter to view the coverage for a single site, and a double click goes to a page showing full details. Click on the buttons in the right-hand corner of the map to choose from different frequencies (or multiplexes for DAB).

Until a few days ago I received BBC Cov & Warks [+ other local stations] on my Denon Radio-Receiver situated in my lounge and also in my bedroom on a portable Revo Axis radio. My apartment block had it's front door camera changed from an analogue to digital receiver and at the same time I 'lost' BBC Cov & Warks and the other locals ones too. The engineers have returned and checked all is Ok and then led me to your site which shows I should NOT have ever received BBC Cov & Warks. But he can see that I did as it's still tuned into my Denon! Can you assist please?

Elizabeth Dixon: Does the apartment block have a communal aerial which includes a feed for DAB radio? If so it is quite likely that reception of out of area signals is possible via the TV aerial point, despite the signals being too weak to receive via the telescopic rod aerial on a portable radio. If the original door camera had old poorly screened coax and was connected to the communal aerial leakage of the amplified signals could have enhanced your DAB reception. If the radio has a socket for an external aerial try connecting it to the TV aerial point, or an outlet specifically marked for DAB, if there is one.

Hi there,
We are getting some sort of interference when listening to BBC Coventry & Warwickshire on 103.7 FM in Stratford on Avon. It seems to be Touch FM on 102 FM that is coming in over the BBC C&W transmission. I noticed it yesterday Sun 21/6/15 but it was doing it again this morning. It isn't all the time but I can sometimes hear BBC C&W without a problem, and then all of a sudden the interference starts for about 10 minutes, then its clear again.....
A station on 102 FM shouldn't really be interfering with a station on 103.7FM , but I guess the Lark Stoke transmitter is the common factor here.....

Want to keep listening to Premier Christian radio which is moving to DAB2 at Easter. Are we able to get this from with of the Lark Stoke signals? Would a better aerial improve our chances. N

Have just installed a Humax VCR. I have access to 2 transmitters which means I have to do a manual tune to avoid duplication. Humax advised me to tune into channels 26, 23, 41, 44, and 47. The first two gave me the channels which are important to me and the last three couldn't find any channels. All I am missing is access to Sky News. Can you please let me know which channel give me access to this station. I don't particularly want a list of channel numbers which I can tune into because it is a pain having to delete all the stations which I never watch. Would be most grateful for your advice.

Ann McClellan: Hi Ann. Sky News is on Logical Channel Number 132. This is the number that will appear on your electronic programme guide once you have tuned into the multiplex that contains it. It is one of a group of channels on the multiplex known as 'COM5', which are transmitted on UHF channel 44 from the Lark Stoke transmitter, south of Stratford-upon-Avon. You need to know this because when you do a manual tune to ensure you get Sky News you have to have made sure you've tuned into the multiplex that contains it. Come back if you require more information or help. Make sure that you have a good aerial connection because the transmitting aerials at Lark Stoke are not very high off the ground, so you need quite a good receiving aerial system at your home to receive Sky News from Lark Stoke. You didn't say the other transmitter you have access to and so I'm wondering whether you'd be better off getting your Sky News from that instead of from Lark Stoke. I need to know what the other transmitter is, so I can advise which channel to tune to on that transmitter for Sky News. Richard, Norwich.

Ann McClellan: Hi again, Ann. Further to my 4:21 p.m. post, I suspect your other transmitter is Sutton Coldfield. On that transmitter, you need UHF channel 45 to be tuned in to get Sky News. As you said in your post you couldn't get anything on Channel 44, this would suggest to me that you can't pick up the Sky News mux from Lark Stoke and so you need to pick it up from Sutton Coldfield, which is a very powerful transmitter.
