Swansea
Until recently I was able to receive all the stations for Swansea SW Wales. Now I can only receive BBC National DAB stations. I have not changed address. My postcode is SA8 3DY. Why can I no longer receive the stations I used to be able to receive?

My FM & DAB Signals have been deteriorating over many weeks to the point where they are now experiencing serious background interference. It started as an intermittent problem but is now seriously affecting my ability to listen to Radio 2 on FM & DAB.
My Post Code is SA2 7UW.

Same here. It would appear two of the Multiplexes are well down on power. I am going to contact Arqiva. It this has been done deliberately I will be complaining to my MP and the Radio Station operators like LBC etc who are no longer getting the market penetration they had. I've used three different vehicle with DAB radios and all three have given similar results.

John Smith : There are no faults or engineering work showing for Kilvey Hill. Have you checked for any loose or damaged cables or connections behind your TV? Do not attempt to retune if you have a weak signal as this will not fix the problem and will quite likely make it worse.

Hi I current live in Swansea, Gorseinon. I've having issues with the dab service. Especially talk sport which hasn't worked properly in 2 weeks. It's not my car as its the same in various cars. Could you look into this for me. Thanks.

This is an independent technical help-site which doesn't have any direct connection with any broadcasters or transmitter companies.
What I can say is that I can't find any reports from the BBC about faults affecting their DAB services in your area - are you having any problems with BBC stations?
As for any of the Commercial multiplexes other than those carrying a BBC Local service, trying to find fault or maintenance information is like trying to get blood from a stone!
There has been disruption to DAB (& Freeview) reception in recent days due to current weather conditions, but this should be short term and is quite variable.
If problems continue, you may be best trying to contact one of the affected stations (eg.Talk Sport) directly to see if they can check up on any problems.

Very weak in Ammanford infact DAB Kilvey Hill only works outside for me anyway. Carmel dosen't carry 11A. Carmel obviously works fine But Kilvey Hill has more. Wish they boost the signal on certain frequency eg 11A.
