The coverage of the Essex DAB multiplexes in my area is poor. I live in Loughton, and BBC Essex gives local news of the Chigwell, Loughton & Buckhurst Hill areas. However when I complained about reception of the Essex stations, I was told to listen on Medium Wave as there is no Essex DAB available here! Also I don't wish to listen to BBC London as I prefer the Essex programmes with better news coverage for my area. (NB I pay taxes to Epping District and have an Essex Post Code).

roy brierley: Either your radio doesn't support DAB+ (many older DAB radios don't) or you don't have a strong enough signal on any DAB+ stations. If you provide a full postcode we will be able to see your coverage prediction and offer more specific advice.
