UK Free TV shows the coverage area for a radio transmitter as a coloured overlay (orange for FM, other colours for DAB) on the grey map. We have computed the coverage by combining the terrain with the official radiation pattern. A single click will select the transmitter to view the coverage for a single site, and a double click goes to a page showing full details. Click on the buttons in the right-hand corner of the map to choose from different frequencies (or multiplexes for DAB).
Are there any planned engineering works or unexpected transmitter faults on the Morecambe Bay (Cumbria, England) mast?

it is wrong this the bay on 96.9 is at 3.2KM power. and also it reaches a bit further then it says on the map. I can get it here not always very clear due to interference from radio city, But get it all the same in Aspull in wigan. and also it used to reach manchester stockport, and beyond before All FM came on air used to listen to it regular in Stockport in the 90s when i lived there. also radio Cumbria is recivable here in wigan to on 96.1 not as strong as the bay.

The Bay transmits at 1.6kW in horizontal and vertical, you can't add the two values together as a single aerial can't receive the two outputs combined.

FM reception ceased between 10 and 11am today. BBC site Radio & Television Service says transmitter 'off air' from 10.20. This knocks out FM Radio 1 - 4. Any ideas why / how long?
