Below are all of Phillip's postings, with the most recent are at the bottom of the page.I am using a Bush HD freesat box and a Luxor HD freeview box with my 'Polaroid' HD ready tv. The freesat box automatically sets to 1080I and the freeview box to 720P. Both are connected to the tv using hdmi cables.
Picture quality on both is very good and if anything, better on the 720P freeview channels.
However when I view HD programmes on freesat (don't have freeview HD here yet)I struggle to see any improvement in picture quality.
Am I alone or just doing something wrong?
Despite this I am very pleased with both boxes, much more fun than the SKY package I had before.
By the way I tuned in ITV HD in Crumlin (northern ireland) with no problem and no change of post code.

Briantist, please help! I have been losing reception on several sky channels, especially those with a 4 in their name ie. channel 4 more 4 ect. So I called in the local sky installers who came in my living room, checked the signal strength with their gizmo and said the signal strength was fine so there should be no problem. I still have the same problem and out of pocket £100 for nothing.

How do I pick up Sky Three on my freeview or my freesat box. (Crumlin Northern Ireland ie. Divis transmitter for freeview.)

Am I the only person in this world that finds this stuff complicated when you guys talk in Numbers, Digits and a code that makes me feel inadequate?If that's what turns you on,, I'm out of here!
