Thank you for your response. I apologise for asking the same thing twice but I lost my link at the end of my email and did know for sure it had been sent.
Can you tell me please how long the scheduled work is expected.

Hi
I note that on this WEB site there are now no reported current problems are shown for the Mendip Transmitter. Since the 28th we have not recieved any BBC services whereas every other channel has a strong and perfect signal. We appreciate there were works upto last week. We have reset the TV without ariel connection and subsequently with. Still no BBC - can you please advise.

Hi Mike
Thanks for that but all is in order.
I have found that my friend at no:5 BS14 9AQ (I'm at 32) suffered the same problem, the total loss of all BBC channels, as did some of our neighbours. My friend actually had his ariel turned to pick up the Ilchester Crescent signal where he could get BBC but not a good signal - this has always been our problem hence Mendip.
The ariel fitter that turned my friends ariel said that there had been a lot of work on the O2 mobile mast at the junction of our road and the WEllS RD at the same time as we experienced problems.
Can you please advise and what action will be taken.
Many thanks

Hi Chris
Yes we do have an ariel amplifier.
Do not understand 'other mux channels'.
As to HD or SD channels all I can tell you is that when I do a 'First Time Installation' I end up wit 73 channels instead of 100+. The only thing I can honestly tell you is that the is no BBC channels at all. I have the basic Freeview service.
You mention 'adding 4G in the 800MHz band (haven't checked)' - do I read this as you will check?

We recieve Freeview from the Mendip Transmitter.
Since early this week we have not been able to recieve any BBC channels. All other channels are of a good and strong signal. We have reset the TV several times and only recieve 73 channels as opposed to the normal 93+.
Can you tell me of any service work on the transmitter that would affect this.
