My aerial is mounted high on a pole on the roof and has a mast head amp fitted. It is aligned to Moel y Parctransmitter. In the winter reception is good but in the summer it is poor when it is windy. As we are surrounded by trees I suspect this is the problem when they are in leaf. It is impractical to cut them all down for 10 miles or so but will cutting ones close to the aerial improve things? If so, how close do I need to consider a problem.
