that is not so. of the channels in English, I can only get C5. All the rest. BBC, ITV etc are only in HD and they want money to see them.

I am now having problems with freesat. Can anybody please explain why approx half the channels say signal is poor? [so poor that they do not work at all] but other days are ok?

Stevens, they were on those channels till recently, now there is a notice on screen 'scambled or currently not available'
My recorder box is HD

gentlemen, have you actually learnt the current whereabouts of AlJazeera and TRT of freesat now?

stevens, I turn my box off nightly at the mains.
I do not know how to do a scan on freesat, I will have to try.
I get a message on the screen about both these, apparently saying they are no longer there.
Are these the only channels to have changed transponder? The others seem still to be there.

It is a Humax pvr.
Are they supposed to update themselves? With freeview we have to do it ourselves.
Thanks to your help, I have now got the two missing channels back
I have nothing between 165 and 200 though. Is this as it should be?
