Why is the BBC mux signal so weak from Carmel? Whenever it rains the picture breaks up and the sound is useless. ITV channels, channels 4 and 5 and all the variants, individual channels such as S4C, Yesterday, Dave or advertising/selling channels are not affected by rain but every BBC channel including News and Parliament drop out together.

Normally our reception from the Carmel transmitter is excellent on all channels. However, when it rains all BBC channels lose signal completely, both audio and picture (i.e. all channels in the BBC A mux including radio). No other channels are affected.

You say there is no engineering work going on, yet the last few days, channel 4 and ITV have been off for longish periods in the evening; and today it is the turn of BBC channels to be down - no 10pm news as well as premium programmes at 9pm. (I don't watch continually)
