Briantist:Iv got a freeview box but im not a big fun of them, i aslo have a skybox. Hannington swithces to digital in feb 2012 so until then i still have my ceefax. When that happens i repoint my ariel to oxford transmitter and get myself a new tv. Its not just me but i notice other people pointing their ariel to the Hannington transmitter, they all must like their ceefax...!! Digital ceefax/teletext is just not the same... :(

Just had a brainwave..!! If a charge my neighbours say £10/20 to repoint their ariel and retune their TV, its a bit of pocket money for me.LOL.

Hi guys,
Thanks for all the info.I live in central oxford OX1, I have 2 outdoor high gain ariels, 48 element. One is facing the oxford transmitter and the other facing hunnington transmitter. I'm using the hunnington transmitter so i can still get ceefax on my analogue tv and using oxford transmitter for the digital tv's.. Digital ceefax/teletext is just not the same as analogue ceefax.
What do you guys think..??

bbc2 has been switched of today, i take it the scheduleb for switch over has been bought forward..??? When are the remaining channel going to be swithed off..??

im in oxford and today i pointed my aerial towards the hannington transmitter and return my sony analogue tv,and still get all 5 channels.:) My tv still has life in it..!!
