Thank goodness BBC 2 HD will NOT carry regional programmes. I'm fed up with the way the BBC in Wales cut and carve mainstream programmes to show rugby, more rugby then old welsh greats playing.....you've guessed it....rugby!!!

Funny old world isn't it! I live bang in the middle of Wales and yet I can't get BBC Radio Wales on DAB but I can get BBC Asian!!! Can't even get Radio Wales on FM unless I erect an external aerial of at least 4 elements and point it at Carmel. I don't like the way that Freeview tend to advertise loads of channels, come to sunny Mid Wales and get the basics....sorry, I just needed a moan!!!

There are rumours that, at last, BBC Radio Wales is coming on DAB from Llandrindod. Strange we get Asian network but can't get our own station in our own country! Can you confirm this Brian.

We are picking up Heart FM on 105.2Mhz in and around LD1 6AT in the car. Signal quite good in places. I'm assuming it's from Carmel. Would an outdoor aerial improve things at home. We used to get UHF from Carmel many years ago, before the local mast did colour etc.!!

Don Wheeler: It's definitely 105.2 which I believe is Carmel. With an external Dab aerial quite high, I'm already getting signals from Carmel, so I'm tempted to try a VHF one! Used to pick up Swansea Sound from Kilvey Hill many moons ago too!

On freeview, BBC HD has now become BBC Wales HD.Does that mean BBC HD is now only available on SKY on 976? The BBC in Wales have far too much influence on BBC 1 and I don't like watching programmes an hour after everybody else!! Hope BBC 2 doesn't go the same way
