I posted yesterday about problems I've been having with my PVR (it's a Digitalstream DHR 8205) this week. 2 of my friends have started having exactly the same problems at the same time, and looking on the AVforums thread for these PVRs, a whole host of other people have just started having the same problems. I believe that something has changed recently in the programme transmissions that is somehow corrupting the firmware in these boxes. Does anyone know how to get in touch with someone from Freeview who could help?

Beginning this week, there seem to be 2 PDC programme start signals being transmitted on the HD (so far, BBC1, BBC2, BBC4, ITV) channels. Last night seemed to be the worst - my PVR recorded 2 instances of Have I Got News For You, Later and The Story of Skinhead. There is a gap of between 4 - 15 seconds between the first and second instances, apart from Later, which had a gap of 22 minutes. This is not exclusive to 1 PVR. I set up another thinking that there was a problem with my original one and exactly the same happened. It has also been happening on a friend's PVR. I haven't yet had a chance to test the non-HD channels yet, but will do later.
Is there anyone on this forum with access to the technical aspects of the transmissions who could try and find out what is happening? As I said, it seems to have started this week.
