I have just moved into a new apartment, there is definately no dish, if i have an input signal in signal 1 does this mean there is a communal dish by any chance? I will try method 3 when i get home, but i think its a potential problem with the signal strength, we have a tv with built in freeview which doesn't pick up all the channels either. Thank you very much for your help tho!

Hi,
I have recently cancelled my sky subscription and have moved homes, however, I am now attempting to use my sky+ box as a freeview box. I am unable to get Channel 4, BBC1 or BBC2 and various other 'free to air' channels. I have tried both method 1 and 2 above, but unfortunately i still can't get these channels. Can anybody shed any light on this? There is no sky dish or communal dish at my new home so could it be a probelm with a lack of sky signal? I also do not have an active phone line, could this be affecting it?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
