Below are all of Norman Langridge's postings, with the most recent are at the bottom of the page.I can receive Freeview at good signal strength from both Rowridge and Findon transmitters. If I do a manual tune first for Rowridge and then for Findon all the sought for muxes (carrier channels) are listed when I do an aerial signal strength check. However, only the Rowridge transmission data appears in the Electronic Programme Guide, my only source to open a programme. Although the two sources provide identical programmes, having an alternative mux can be useful so why don't the Findon duplicates appear in the EPG in the 800s? Humax tell me they should, but they don't!

As from the recent changes in Freeview Channels at Rowridge transmitter, some of the programmes that were on UHF carrier 37 have disappeared completely, one being PBS America. According to one web source they have been switched to UHF carrier 60 which is way out of the range of a Group A aerial, a strange move if this is true. Are Freeview viewers losing out when it comes to receiving TV programmes?

If Rowridge has moved some of its output to the 600mhz carrier, then I am not going to be able to receive them on the recommended group A aerial. If I wish to continue to access TV programmes such as TV Channel 94, what additional group aerial do I need to erect such that I can choose between the two aerials?

Although the Transmitter maps were very useful, they are now appear to be much out of date and I would enquire if these are to be brought up to date to reflect current position. For example,
On the Rowridge data, UHF Channel 37 includes CBS America (TV94) which I used to be able to receive prior to the latest shakeup, but it is no longer there and I have no idea as to where it has gone. I cannot get any response from CBS America themselves. Even an auto tune fails to find it.

DAB is transmitted from The Trundle north of Chichester. There is a car park some 1/4 mile to its west. Went there, but could not receive any BBC stations at all, just local Hampshire stuff. Is there a dead spot beneath the aerial in the immediate area?

Can you say why C22, C25 & C28 from Rowridge Horizontal were not increased to 200kw?
I too will now have to alter my aerial to vertical to take advantage of the 200kw transmissions and hopefully avoid the black-out of reception as recently experienced with the 50kw channels.
