How do I change the RF output channel on a Sky Digibox? | Help!Wednesday 22 August 2012 4:34PM

Hi we had a tv in the bedroom that picked up the sky tv from the lounge via a magic eye prior to the switchover. We have now purchased a new LED tv with built in freeview, we would like to be able to have things as they were. ie: We could watch terrestial tv, then if wanted to watch a sky program just put the tv on channel 6 is this posible on the new set. Because at present we only have the freeview channel and cannot find a spare channel to watch sky on. Any help appreciated.
Many Thanks
Wendy

The make and model is a LG 42LS3400. When you say switch between, do you mean if i had another coax from my tv socket on the wall and switch this from the magic eye between sky and freeview.
Thanks Wendy

I have a sky hd box in the lounge connected to a 50" plasma tv, we also have a tv in the bedroom fed via a coaxial cable which is connected to the HD box in the lounge, so we can watch Sky programmes etc via a magic eye. I now want to purchase a new tv with freeview built in for the bedroom, would the same coaxial cable set up work the same? At the moment I put the bedroom tv on No.6 on the remote and that shows the sky channels, but how would I do this on the new tv with built in freeview as aren't all channels preset? How would I watch sky?

Hi Dave, Yes I did ask a similar question a while ago but had forgotten to what the problem i had was. I did not think any tv's had analogue tuners in them now I thought all new tv's were digital? Do you know which tv's have both? Thanks

Hi can you tell me whether or not purchasing a tv with freeview will benefit me at all. I have a tv in the lounge with a sky+ plus, I also have a tv in the bedroom without freeview, but at the moment can watch 1-5 and also by putting the tv on channel 6 can watch sky from the lounge via a magic eye.
Could you tell me that if i purchased a tv with freeview built in would i still be able to put the tv on a seperate channel to watch sky through my magic eye as before, and also watch freeview when I dont want to watch sky.
If so what channel or source would i need to put my sky on to watch it through the eye, without interferring with the freeview.
