Below are all of Jeff Glynn's postings, with the most recent are at the bottom of the page.As there seems to be spate of aerial distribution amplifiers failing, I would suggest that, if
possible, a passive splitter is tried first. If there is sufficient signal strength, there will my no problems, and nothing to fail. My own setup is configured as follows: aerial to splitter, one side
of which feeds a Panasonic TV, the other side feeding a Panasonic DVD recorder/PVR, the RF output of which feeds a Humax PVR. The signal strength /signal quality bar graph on the
TV and Panasonic PVR shows 100% for both values; the figures on the Humax PVR
shows 79-81% signal strength and 100% for quality.

Anyone know of any problems affecting COM7 (BBC4 HD, etc)? Over the past few days it's been very intermittent, sometimes with no signal at all (even through a booster). As it's now listed above at 72 400w (up from 10000) there should be no reception problems. No problems are reported at Mendip. Any information?

Update to above: booster only used to check reception: not normally used. All other MPXs OK., just channel 33.

Anybody noticed the drop-off in signal quality
on COM6 (Channel 52) since last retune? I suppose that it will corrected when full power and final channel positions are available next year.
