Yes, against 'Parameter' I've got [CH47] 682.00 MHz - with 'Signal Quality' all over the place. I lose picture and sound intermittently.
Oh well, roll on November ;-)

jb38: Correct - aerial in loft, pointing directly at Tacolneston, which is to East of me. I can see the lights of the newer taller tower from bedroom window - nothing between.
I'm impressed with the Panny's ability to receive the Sudbury transmissions - it's South of me, so yes, I do lose the picture a couple of times a minute.

I currently have a modest loft aerial (2 storey house) feeding a Labgear 4-way booster in the loft - feeding 3 TVs. We are just 9.5 miles from the Tacolneston transmitter with direct line of sight from bedroom across fields.
Since phase 1 of the changeover, I'm getting full signal strength (10) on all channels on my Panasonic plasma. After phase 2, I'm concerned (having read posts and links above) that one or more of my TV receiver circuits are going to get overloaded. I see that I can get a variable coax attenuator from Maplin... What is the most appropriate course of action - put it on the aerial feed to the Labgear, or put one on each output to the TVs? I guess fixed attenuator(s) would be better - but tricky to judge what level of attenuation would be required...
All help/advice gratefully received.

Dave Lindsay: Many thanks for your posts, links and advice.
At least I've got the cable (copper foil shielding) and use of the amp correct although it's been impossible to avoid aiming the aerial through the end wall - but my concern is too strong a signal anyway!
I'll try bypassing the amp (not variable gain I'm afraid) and see what strength I get indicated on the plasma TV.

Are DAB+ transmissions available from the Tacolneston transmitter?
If so, which programmes?
Thanks in advance

As you were...
I've just found some technical info on DAB+ vs DAB vs FM
- and I'll stick with FM for now thanks !

Tacolneston Retune
I noticed last night that, since the retune on 17 Aug, I'm now receiving BBC1 HD on ch50 :-D - and the other HD channels elsewhere in the 50's.
It breaks up occasionally, but good nevertheless. Receiving on my Panasonic plasma, which has built-in DVB-T2 tuner. I assume that reception will improve approaching November?
TV displays 1080i/50 when switching to HD channels.
(I can see directly to Tacolneston from NR17 1**).
