To offer any useful advice we need to know what make and model of 'Digital HDD recorder' you are using. They vary quite a lot internally between makes so may behave differently.

You can't have a 'FreeSky' box as they don't exist. You may well have a Freesat box though, or possibly be using an ex-Sky box without a subscription. You don't tell us what make and model you have so it is difficult to advise. However, check the batteries in the remote control by swapping them for new ones. If that doesn't cure it, turn off the mains supply to the box and unplug it for at least 10 minutes. Then plug in again but don't try turning the box on yet. After another 5 minutes try turning the box on again with the remote control and then wait another 5 minutes. Then check whether you have the correct programmes. If that cures the problem than your box suffered a technical problem inside and the process described force it to perform a reset.

I am on Mendip and there is no problem at the transmitter. So as MikeB suggests you have a fault in your equipment somewhere. Check all the aerial connections from the back of the TV sert right up to the aerial. Ensure that all the connections are good and that the cable is not damaged in any way. Also check that the inner metal core is separated from the outer metal braiding so there is not a short circuit.

I suspect that the listings are as given by the channel itself. The description of 'New' often means the programme is new to that channel only and does not mean it's a new programme or episode at all. Marketing plays havoc with the meanings of words, I'm afraid.

No you do not need a new dish, but you may need to have the cables and LNB checked. The dish is merely a reflective curved surface to focus the signals from the satellites onto the LNB, the small block on the outer end of the arm at the front of the dish. The LNB receives the signals so reflected and converts them to be suitable for carrying via the downleads to feed into the receiver.
It is possible that the LNB may be developing a fault after so many years and it is also possible that the cable(s) have deteriorated over the years as they are so exposed to the weather.

Is you TV set a full HD type or is it an 'HD Ready' type? If the former then do as suggested by StevensOnln1. If it is the latter then it is not capable of receiving HD channels on channel 32.

Your TV signals could be coming from either Sudbury or Tacolnston transmitters. There are no reported problems with either stations.
That suggests a fault has occurred in your equipment. You should get a TV engineer to visit and check your system, unless you are able to do those checks yourself.

If your 'other half' is skilled at electrical work and is happy climbing ladders to the roof and knows about the type of connectors used then he may be able to do it himself. Personally, if he can't say yes to all of those I would strongly recommend a good aerial/satellite installer be asked to do the work for you.
