ralph keemar: I am afraid it will happen now and then but not always as bad as it has been the last few days. Always good to have a back up way of watching tv when it does like freesat or online etc

Tim as I have found out no signal will show for an HD mux unless you have a compatable DVB-T2 freeview HD receiver or TV
The link you give for a DVB-T card will be useless for HD in the UK
This one will pick up the HD channels though
TBS PCI-E DVB-T2 Quad TV Tuner Card High Definition: Amazon.co.uk: Electronics
Or this one :-
PCTV Systems DVB-T2 290e nanoStick HD TV Tuner - Watch, Pause & Record Digital Freeview Hi Definition and Standard Definition TV on your PC. Stream LIVE TV to your iPad, iPhone, PC or MAC.: Amazon.co.uk: Computers & Accessories

I presume the lower power of 50kw is also because of Caen using the same channels with 100kw H ?

Hmm could this ever change in time though. What about the new mux's in the future also, there is talk about capacity for any extra 35 HD channels even in the years to come
I wonder if other countries have the same type of freeview light service from relays...
