Below are all of Monty's postings, with the most recent are at the bottom of the page.Just an update. The problem has got worse as there is now no signal on Channel 46 whatsoever, yet the rest of the channels work fine. Something (or someone) appears to have messed things up somehow.

Another update, one I intended to do before now, and also to thank Mike for his reply.
The situation has worsened considerably to the extent that I have now lost all channels on UHF 48 and 67. Prior to Sunday all worked well, and yes I have had Freeview even before the switchover to Digital in August of this year, so I cannot see that there is any fault in my aerial, unless for some reason the equipment is picking up Emeley Moor rather than Belmont, but I will check this out. Even retuning the box has not helped though.
I am somewhat puzzled as to why this has happened though, especially as there is no apparent issue at the Belmont transmitter, and everything has been working so well for as long as I have been able to view Freeview, which is about 4 or 5 years now.
Any further ideas or suggestions would be welcome, but thanks again Mike for your most useful information.

Well I have solved the problem, thanks once again to Mike's information.
Upon checking, for some strange reason, the Freeview box decided to pick up transmissions from another trasmitter and not Belmont. Having now manually tuned to the proper mux Channels for Belmont I have now got my missing channels back again. It does seem a bit silly why equipment should behave in this way sometimes, but at least things are back to how they should be.
Can I just ask out of interest what transmitter UHF Channels 48 and 67 belong to?

Mark Fletcher: Thanks for the information. My device does not seem to indicate anywhere either trasmitter name or the area from where the aerial is picking up the transmission from, just UHF ID, channel number, signal strength and quality. I have to say that although Challenge and other programs on the same mux have very good signal strengths, the quality of the picture is rather poor but watchable. I hope that will be resolved when the inprovements take place at Belmont later this month.
Thanks again for your help.

Am at Cleethorpes, postcode DN357QE, last night and also this morning, Challenge on Channel 46 was continuously breaking up and losing signal, whereas previously it has been strong and reliable. This is annoying as I wanted to watch the wrestling and was unable to do so.
What is going on with Freeview?
