I have two Humax HD+ PVR's one in UK and one in France. I also have a Humax HD (without recorder) and they work a treat.

michael: That's all very well but while there are many DAB radios there are few DAB tuners. In addition we have poor coverage (both FM and DAB) where I live and no local BBC radio station.

Before we all talk about Local Radio on Freeview think about those who do not have a local Radio, Dorset is one county (mine)!

Andy: As I understand it, ITV HD is only from Central TV regardless of where you live (I tghink Scotland is an exception).

I'm in Sturminster Newton and our reception on Freeview has been difficult (not available or breaking up both TV and radio) but it's usual with this weather.

I'm in an appartment (with a communal aerial) in Sturminster Newton and we have been unable to watch any Freeview channel for some weeks now. Luckily we also have a communal Sat dish so those of us who use satellite are ok.

I am NOT an expert but we have a mobile home near Pont Aven, Brittany.
For areas like Normandy, Brittany then a standard (Sky size) dish will be ok. The further you go south the larger the dish. Freesat or Sky box (with a TV of course) works fine. What luck you would have with a portable dish I cannot say. I am sure others on here will know far better than me.
