If I purchase Freesat to replace my Sky box (I am a non-subscriber) approximately how many channels will I be able to receive?

Since the afternoon of 7 November very poor reception on all channels other then those prrovided by the BBC, i.e. picture breakup and "No signal" messages from Ladder Hill.

Why are subscribers in the High Peak area always treated as the "poor relations" where access to TV channels is concerned. It took until the switchover for us receive C5 (unless you had a dish), and as for the channels available on Freeview - well, it's a joke! Would our friends in the SE tolerate this? I doubt it !
