@mikeb I sent an email to Barb asking if they were aware of the problem and if they had any sway in asking the BBC for a fix. No response thus far but they are usually pretty good at getting back to queries. I'll let you know when I hear.

I've just logged a complaint through the BBC website - I wonder if enough of us did this it might have some effect?

Me too! I watched Bakeoff then expected to have to switch off at the mains, but it was fine. Yesterday morning the breakfast programme froze within seconds. I've had no response from my complaint to the BBC either.

MikeB: we were okay tonight after work too, haven't done a re-scan this week so it seems weird if something has just mysteriously updated?

@mikeb I'm on the BARB panel so think I'll drop the local engineer an email on Monday - they might carry more weight in getting answers from the BBC than us mere mortals, especially if it's impacting the ratings. We usually watch the BBC news at 6 every day as standard plus breakfast telly, so that pattern change will be very noticeable from this household.
