No TV signals from Mendip since July 8th, despite dozens of retunes: Update to my previous post: I've now spoken to the BBC's engineers and interference teams. Both insist that Mendip is 100% (and 100kW) for BBC signals so don't know why I'm not receiving any TV signals in Marlborough (SN8) after 5 years. This seems to contradict Briantist's comments re lower power from this transmitter. Don't want to lash out on Freesat until I'm sure about this. Any advice welcome!

Marlborough
Hi! My postcode is SN8 1RR on the western edge of Marlborough. New aerial is on a pole attached to the chimney. Our aerial is pointed at Mendip. For the last fortnight we have had very poor reception in the mornings and evenings/overnight. Today, we have had poor reception all day. I have had all equipment, aerial and amplifier checked by a TV aerial specialist who said there's nothing wrong with the equipment and blamed the signal. As of tonight, we have channels on Multiplex B (Dave, Sky News etc.) but nothing else.
I've retuned both TVs and the DVD recorder with no improvement. Aerial guy recommends Freesat. Any ideas? Many thanks!
