Mendip transmitter: I have just retuned my HD TV and Humax box, trying to add new HD channels. The TV (with built in HD tuner) has successfully added the new HD channels, like BBC 3 HD on 105, BBC News HD on 107, etc., but the Humax (twin HD tuners) now won't load any HD channels at all. The Humax can't find any transmissions on Channel 58, which I think covers all the HD outputs in this area. Any ideas on this problem, pleas?

Martin L: Many thanks Dave for your super-quick reply. I'll follow your advice to hopefully get current HD transmissions back on the Humax. I'll then leave further retunes until I'm sure Mendip is putting the new mux transmissions out.

We obtain Freeview services via the Mendip transmitter. All was OK prior to the major retune required on 3 September, but since then we have experienced some problems.
Intermittent signal break-up and pixilation is evident on some recordings on our Humax PVR, and more recently the Humax has not recorded some chosen programmes. Our Samsung TV now does not seem to recognise its connection to the Humax PVR (i.e. via HDMI2), unless the PVR is physically switched on. I have checked for updates for the TV and PVR, but all seems up to be up to date in that respect. Any ideas what the problem may be, please?

I've retuned all our TVs/digiboxes since 11 Jan, and all except our main Panasonic TV seem to have picked up all channels again from the Mendip transmitter. Humax PVRs seem OK, but the Panasonic TV is now not receiving via its own tuner the channels transmitted at a lower power (Channel 12 - Yesterday, etc.). We live in Compton Dundon, near Street, and have had no problems receiving channels to date since digital switchover last year.
