Hello Folks,
I'm based in Farnborough GU14.
After giving Hannington time to settle down, I find there are no channels on COM5 ArqA (Ch.44) and Com6 ArqB (Ch.47).
All other channels are fine.
I have a wideband aerial with a masthead ampifier.
I am (un?)fortunate in that I am in a direct line between Crystal Palace and Hannington and the aerial also picks up some London channels which are stored as 801, 802, 803 etc. in the receiver.
Could the problem of missing channels be due to interference from CP or simply be down to insufficient signal levels in the GU14 area?

Thanks. Today, I called DUK and spoke to a very helpful lady who confirmed that ArqA and ArqB transmissions are reduced power until April 18. She also told me that CP would be a better aerial for receiving the commercial channels from GU14 Farnborough.

All signals very strong in Farnborough GU14 using masthead amplifeir and wideband aerial.

Can anyone confirm that this is indeed the end of this saga with Hannington/Crystal Palace and thet the signals are now at full strength and no more retuning will be necessary?

Small problem this afternnon and evening - intermittent glitching on ITV1 Ch.3. Occurs at least once-per-minute, sometimesd 2-3 times in quick succession. All other channels fine. Hope this isn't going to be the norm.

ITV-1 (Ch.3) still glitching off, no signal for 2-3 seconds then Ok again from Farnborough GU14.
Is the airport messing about with some new equipment that upsets just this one channel?
(Should have built housing on that damn site!).

Digital on Sony Bravia is fine, other than ITV1 etc. breaking up on occasions at night.
Ditto on Matsui with same aerial gives no signal most of the time on all channels so Matsui tuner spec. seems poor. Suppose to be expected from a Curries cheap tat product. Best spend a bit extra and get something that works properly.
