Several of my friends and family have recently upgraded their aerials and in some cases replaced digi boxes or the TV itself due to some poor reception of some freeviewchannels. I have not followed that route but do have problems with certain channels on the Mendiptransmitter channels which are on low power.
These channels show a service signal strength of about 40% but on a regular basis drop to 0% , I have investigated all the known problems for interference and can not find any common cause with my reception and my friends with similar service interruptions, the transmitter that always reports constant up time is some other broadcast causing interference on an intermittent but regular basis.
Mostly affects channels on 842000kHz
