Many thanks for the info. I'm sure I was saving all the re-scans with Horizontal polarity. The Showcase channels always appeared in the same place on the list. - However, I then decided to go for the Factory default and 'Delete all Channels' also, limited the scan to 'Free to Air' instead of 'All'. - With a completely new scan, I got Showcase back! I'm sharing this in case other people are still having this problem. - My only drawback, I lost my local region of BBC News (East Midlands Today)

I have been given an old Sky-box with no viewing card. Can I use it for free-to-air channels without having to subscribe to Sky? I have never been a Sky customer so I can't ask for a replacement, or clean the old card to reset the box.

I lost Showcase back in February and, despite many scans, reboots, it will not return! (4Astra/Euro1). It is listed as Channel 453 on my Ross FTA box. It also has five other listings of various Showcase channels, either scrambled or just not there! The frequency listing I have now amended to 11,344.v 27500. But I can't find 'Fec 2/3'you mention. More scans, but still no Showcase! My information on Showcase channel says Video Pid:2335, PCR Pid:2334, PMT Pid:270, Audio Pid:8191, Subt.Pid:8191 I don't know what any of this means and, have no idea how to change any of these details. I am missing Showcase!
