jb38: Thank you for your reply. We have tried another lead and nothng has happened. Tried it on an old box too but new one Just the same so it is likely the internal power unit has gone, so will have to get someone out. I assume it is repairable. Thanks again for your help which is very much appreciated.

Can anyone help please. When I put my sky plus box on there was a feozen picture. I switched it off from wall left it a few mins and now nothng st all. No lights. Nothing just dead. Tried unplugging, checked fuse, checked socket, took all plugs off and back and still nothing. I am worried abiut rebooting as will lose recordings, but as it is not working anyway, cannot even do this. I assume I need Sky to come out at a cost. Thanks
