Below are all of Bobfm's postings, with the most recent are at the bottom of the page.Chris, sorry for delay, yes. What I am getting is a huge amount of static on the fly lead from the Thompson box. So much in fact that the spark is clearly visible when removing the lead.
On another set, which was working fine on it's own outside aerial I have had to re-instate the booster for channels 15/24 etc. SN3 4ST

SN3 4ST. Pixilation last night for all my aerials and to a lesser extent this morning, on Coms 4. Was this just due to the rain. Every other Com and PBS were fine.

Brian/David thanks. I think we will live with it for now, we have 4 aerials. We have over the last year replaced practically every cable, plugs, outlet plates costing hundreds of pounds when the boosters were added to compensate for the poor signal strength so a few months more just to see won't hurt.

Hi Brian, yes I was very aware of that so removed the boosters after the 28th, and things were fine but within a couple of weeks once again we started to get break up on the weaker channels so put a number of boosters back which stabilised the single again, as I say until the night the rains came.

I note ITV 3 and associated channels were freezing last night between 10 and 11, as was said above it wouldn't hurt someone to put up a message as use to happen, 'Please do not adjust your set, we are experiencing technical problems at present' or such like.

This change over is becoming like the little pink bunny, going on and on and on. So a retune next year.
I read somewhere that the entire US changed over the same day.

Brian I appreciate that may be the case but we are still experiencing random drop out of 'coms', mainly itv3,5,31,30. A complete clean tune seems to bring them back, it is not restricted to one aerial but happens on all 4.
A pain to retune 11 televisions.

Once again for the last week we have been losing channels on the IYV and channel 5 type.
This has almost like scheduling from 9pm until about 10/10.30.
Retuning gives me a variety of different frequencies, as many as 8 and as few as 3. As someone else said it's about time the UK Authorities came clean.
I know that most of the channels affected are running at reduced power so lets hope that the promised resolution in April finally works.

PS. Why do they never give an actual date for the engineering work, is this week from today yesterday etc and when will it actually finish.

Chris thank you for your detailed comments, I am minded to point out that many experts have been the ones misleading the public re aerials and the like.
I have spoken to coms specialists who have said that this Digital switch is more to do with benefiting the programme providers than the consumer, it enables them (providers) to stream more and more TV programmes.
I also understand that the analogue frequencies are to be sold off, what guarantees do we have that these will then not conflict with the Digital signals.
