Below are all of Dave Hunter's postings, with the most recent are at the bottom of the page.Well after 3 days of over red screen and after I ordered a new box the thing started working ok.
Any explanations.
Using an Asda STB-09 cheap box that only started playing up when the changeover started. Been on Waltham for 20 plus years.

Had lovely reception from 20:00 last night until about 9 this morning now it reverted to the day-glo red effect and when I look at the snooker the white ball seems to have gone the same colour as the table.
Also seem to be getting some sort of ghosting as well.
Any ideas?

Now it's back to good reception again. I am going to have this until Waltham changes over in August?
Who was the brainbox who decided to leave Waltham alone while changing two transmitters on either side?

I give up its gone back to the red screen again. Surely this is not what I am to expect from Digital TV?

Daylight and its gone back to red screen. could it be that the signal strength is weakening at night from Nottingham and that Waltham then gets a look in?
Why doesn't any one at the Digital or the Beeb seem bothered?

Just phone Beeb, Digital and they each blame each other and now they are saying that we must have local interference as its only happening in daylight hours. Nobody will do anything. Any Ideas? BTW they suggested OFCOM but what can they do?

Since Wednesday I have had BBC channels lock, reduce sound, increase sound, programm display fails to work, cant change channels etc. All other channels work perfectly. I have same problem on 3 different boxes and 2 different TVs. I have retuned till I'm blue in the face.
I'm on Waltham trans and live in Castle Donington
using Bush and Goodman boxes.
Why do they keep trying to fix what aint broke?

Derby
Getting very heavy red on the colour. Looks terrible plus occasional breaking up ever since 13th April. Aerial pointed at Waltham transmitter always has been but seem to be affected by the Nottingham switch over. Got the same just before the earlier retune but it went away now it been here a lot longer. Any reason for that? BTW why are we switching to a system that is affect so much by high pressure or are we just a stupid nation at heart?
