Dominic McCrossan- It is probably a loose scart lead. Simply unplug both the TV and DVD from the mains, reseat the scarts(remove and plug in again) and power the sets back on. Also, try another scart lead if this is unsuccessful.

steve churchill- You would really need to refer to your instruction books for this info.
Generally speaking however and assuming your sets have these connections, use two HDMI leads to connect the blu-ray player and the freeview recorder to the TV. Also, if you want digital audio, use either(or both) optical and coax leads from each appliance to the AV unit.

mark holford- You need to access the Sky menu via the 'services' button and change the second TV output to match the aspect of the TV, eg 16.9 or 4.3.

Cheryl- The aerials listed at the top of the page are designed to be placed on or near the TV equipment.
As stated on this site, aerials ideally need to be placed on the roof, as high as possible to receive digital signals in pre-switch areas. However, a loft aerial should be OK if you live in a good signal area. You would need to input your postcode at the top of the page, in order to find out which type of aerial you need, group A, etc.

DAVID BROWN- If the monitor has a scart input, or if the box has RF Modulator output and the monitor has RF input, then in theory, yes.

Neil- Does the lead go direct to the TV, or do you have a 'magic eye' connected? If so, disconnect this and plug the RF lead into the TV direct, to see if you get a signal.
If this is the case and it does work, power down the Sky box and TV, then reconnect the eye. The RF power outlet powers the eye, nothing else.

Heather- Have you connected the Sky box to the recorder via scart? If so, you would need to select the relevant AV channel.
You need to select this by pressing the input button. Depending on your model, it will either scroll through the AV channels by pressing input, or you may need to press input until it says AV1, then press the program up/down buttons to go through the AV channels.

Neil- Try taking the lead from RF2 and put it temporarily into the normal RF outlet and see if that makes a difference.
If that works, the box may have developed a fault. If the same, try replacing the RF lead that goes to the second TV.

Derrick Lord- It could be that an external appliance has developed a fault, or a lead has malfunctioned. If applicable, try putting the aerial lead direct into the TV. You could also have a fault with your aerial itself.

Emily- No, you need a dish. If you do not receive a reliable terrestrial signal, cable would be an alternative option.
