Keith Cunliffe : Angus will eventually use UHF 39/42/45 for PSB1-3 and 33/36/48 for COM4-6 from late 2019, however there will be an intermediate change with PSB1 moving to UHF 33 temporarily in the Summer of 2019. COM7&8 will move to UHF 55/56 in late 2018. If you already get good reception of COM7 on UHF 31 then your existing aerial should be suitable for the new frequency allocations at Angus.

I appear to have no COM7 HD CH32 signal from the Caldbeck transmitter, which is the normal way for me to receive BBC4 HD (channel 106) and BBC News HD (channel 107). I can get a good BBC B HD CH 30 signal, so `I can receive channels 101, 102, 103, 104 and 105.
Is there some particular problem with the COM7 HD signal from Caldbeck at the moment? It seems to have been off air from at least 20:00 on 4 April and is still off air at 22:40 on 4 April 2018. Can anyone help?

Jim: BBC Four HD is on COM8 (it moved earlier this year) not COM7. Have you checked for any loose or damaged cables or connections behind your TV? Please provide a full postcode so that we can see your predicted coverage.

Why does the stocklsnd hill transmitter lack certain channels. BBC 4 HD. Cbeebies HD. BBC news HD Forces TV and several others. I feel we are getting a second rate service

Alan Mapp: Those channels are carried on the COM7 & COM8 multiplexes which are temporary services available from 30 main transmitters covering around 70% of UK households and are expected to close by 2022. If you want to receive those channels without subscribing to Sky or cable you should look at getting Freesat.

Transmitter search in our area EX5 comes up with just Beacon Hill. Although Stockland is nearer, it does not show up in the search for us, and our aerial man (and all aerials nearby) points to and tunes into Stockland. We ask as we still have reception problems after repeated visits from the aerial man and new aerials/amplifiers ever since the aerial was turned to Stockland. Help!!!
